Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are. The Sixth Form Society ("we", "us") arranges one-to-one online A Level tutoring, matching students with independent tutors based on subject and exam board.

2. Booking lessons. Lessons are booked directly with us via WhatsApp or our contact form. Pricing starts at £25 per hour, unless we are running a specific promotional offer; your exact rate will be confirmed before your first paid session, and any free or discounted trial lesson will be clearly stated as such at the time of booking.

3. Payment. Payment is collected in advance of sessions or session bundles, via the payment method we confirm with you at the time of booking. Bundles are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Cancellations. You can cancel or reschedule a session by messaging us on WhatsApp. How cancellation timing affects refunds and rescheduling is set out in our Refund Policy below.

5. Refund Policy. If you cancel a session and let us know at least 24 hours in advance, you're eligible for a full refund or a credit toward a future session, provided the session hasn't taken place yet. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund; instead, we'll try to reschedule the session, at the discretion of your assigned tutor and depending on their availability. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, minus any non-refundable transaction or currency conversion fees charged by our payment provider. For bundles, refunds are calculated only on the sessions not yet used at the time of cancellation.

6. Tutor matching. We aim to match you with a tutor experienced in your specific subject and exam board. If a match isn't working for you, tell us and we'll find an alternative where possible.

7. Conduct. Sessions should be conducted respectfully by both student and tutor. We reserve the right to end a tutoring arrangement if this isn't the case.

8. Liability. We do our best to match students with capable, subject-appropriate tutors, but we can't guarantee specific grade outcomes. Our liability is limited to the value of the services paid for.

9. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
